Yusuke Morita
We are proud to Have Yusuke Morita in the Adamovic Bass Family.
Yusuke started to learn drums, guitar and trombone in his school days but he converted to electric bass when he was 15 years old. He studied composition at TOKYO COLLEGE of MUSIC and studied electric bass under Yoshihoro Naruse (CASIOPEA). After moving to Europe in 2013 he studied with Dominique Di Piazza in Paris.
Yusuke joined the renowned piano trio “ai kuwabara trio project” as a bassist and co-producer. Their base is Japan but they have been touring in Europe and the US.
Yusuke plays a Halo 6-string Custom bass with a beautiful Amboyna burl top. His comment after having the bass for a while are:
“This Halo sounds amazing. This is the tone that I dreamed about for a long time. The 6-string, 35″ scale length and a passive circuit are new for me and therefore a challenge but I’m already sure that THIS is my new voice.”
