Jon Blessing
Currently based in Milwaukee, Jon Blessing is a professional bassist, composer, and teacher who
continues to develop and wow audiences with a one of a kind fusion sound.
Jon broke onto the music scene as a young gifted musician at the age of 10. He quickly moved
around learning the tricks of the trade from many of the Midwest’s most experienced musicians.
Playing in countless groups and bands, as well as pit orchestras and classical jazz ensembles, the
Blessing name expanded across the Midwest, gaining the reputation of an accountable and
adaptable musician.
In recent times, Jon has had the pleasure of studying bass performance at the Berklee College of Music. Post pandemic, Jon is preparing the release of his first solo album, slated to release in November on all streaming platforms.
Jon plays both a 5 string Adamovic Soul Concept Bass stabilized in Ruby Red with a poplar burl top and a Custom 5 string Adamovic Light Prototype Bass.
